A therapeutic system of dance, music and movement.

Biodanza is a therapeutic system of music and movement which was first created in South America more than 50 years ago by a famous psychologist named Rolando Toro. Now it flourishes all over the world, with many thousands of participants. There are no steps – it is a form of personal self-expression through dance and movement which has enormous emotional as well as physical benefits, and enhances our connection to ourselves and others.

All kinds of music will be used – from jazz to pop to Latin to Spanish to classical, and everything in between. Classes will be carefully structured to maintain a balance of activities so that individual participants will move and dance in a way that suits their own energy levels. It is suitable for people of all ages, and can have enormous emotional as well as physical benefits, enhancing our wellbeing by strengthening communication with ourselves and others. As one member wrote recently, "It is such fun!"
