4th Tuesday of the month, following on from the Computing and Technology group
Venue: On Google Meet

Most meetings are held online but some are held at Westbury Fields.
The leader emails the group's members in advance of each meeting with details of the venue and topic.

Study and discussion of any new scientific and engineering topics, innovations, discoveries or work in progress and their potential consequences.

If you have heard of or seen some interesting developments in any fields, please bring them up for information and discussion. We take it in turns to present a topic for discussion. Recent talks have included The Life Cycle of the Sun, Artificial Intelligence: the Turing Test in contemporary times, Bayes Theorem (statistics) and Covid, Cosmic Rays.
