With the emphasis on fun, we watch a varied programme of opera, operetta and ballet on DVD (confining ourselves to two hours or sometimes in summer a little over) and chat. The operas chosen are those written for popular entertainment and nothing 'difficult'.
We also go to live and simulcast performances. There is an explanatory handout with synopsis for each show.
Tea and biscuits, for which there is a small charge, are served at an appropriate interval.
