Bristol u3a members can choose from around 150 interest groups from Art to Yoga - look on the Find a Group page where you can search for a group alphabetically, by category, by venue or by day of the week that they meet.

Can't find what you are looking for? - have a look at some proposed new groups. They are just waiting for members to show sufficient interest to get them off the ground.

Groups meet during the day at weekly, fortnightly or monthly intervals, either in members' homes, at a suitable location or sometimes using Zoom.

If you would like to join a group, contact the leader whose details you will find on the relevant group’s page.

If a group is full the leader may offer to put your name on a waiting list. If this happens, or if you do not get a reply from the convenor,  inform one of the Groups Coordinators. They keep an eye on waiting lists, with the possibility of helping to start a new group if there is enough interest.

Social Groups

Horfield Social Group

Social groups are a great way to meet people if you are new to the u3a as well as a way to keep up with friends.

We have over a dozen social groups around the city so you are sure to find one close to where you live. You don’t have to go to the closest - just choose one (or more!) that suits you best.
