Bristol u3a

Celebrating 40 years

u3a

Bristol u3a is for all older people who want to keep active in mind and body, enjoy socialising, and are either retired or no longer in full time employment.

It is run entirely by its members. There are now over 2000 of us so if you join us you'll find many opportunities to enjoy learning and to try new activities, while having fun in the company of new friends. The emphasis is on a desire to learn and a willingness to share your skills and abilities. All that is needed is enthusiasm, participation and mutual respect.

Noticeboard

Telling all about it!

‘u3a Matters’, the magazine of the national Third Age Trust covers u3a activities in all parts of the country. Is there anything your group does that is unusual, interesting or notable that would make a good story so that Bristol u3a can feature in a positive way?

Next monthly meeting THURSDAY 23rd July

Peter Loy-Hancocks, an ecologist and member of Bristol u3a, will take a look at some environmentally positive actions and their results.
