We go for days out by public transport (bus or sometimes rail) to explore new places on foot, for example visiting the seaside, local museums or historic properties. Members are encouraged to suggest places to go and help make arrangements. It's not expected that members will join every trip.

Communication is generally by email but there is also a WhatsApp group for members to be notified of any late changes or to arrange trips informally.

We have visited Glastonbury, with many members climbing the Tor; walked the Portishead Sculpture Trail, and taken a guided tour of Arnos Vale cemetery.

For practical purposes there is a general limit of 10 members per trip.
