Members of the group take it in turns, at least 3 weeks in advance, to select a film to watch independently, then they meet together to discuss it. The members need access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Curzon, Youtube or any other streaming facility.

The group is run for those with an interest in primarily art/foreign/non-mainstream films. The films suggested for each month can be based on: classic small budget productions, political issues, psychological, a director's particular style, aesthetic value, memorable, iconic. The films watched/discussed to date are shown in the lists below for each year. The member suggesting the film starts the discussion at the meeting talking around how they relate to the film and why they chose it. 

Two WhatsApps are used within the group covering:

A Forum for broader discussion of the selected films beyond the meet-up discussion, spin-off thoughts from the selected film etc.

Admin of the group ie chosen next film, changes in selected film if suggester cannot attend, meeting attendance etc.
