Members meet in the Bishopston area to read and discuss poetry and poets. We decide between ourselves the type of poets that we wish to read. (The group is not for writers of poetry.)

Our current format - subject to evolving choices - is to devote roughly half of each session to a poet chosen in advance (recently Heaney, Mary Oliver, Elizabeth Bishop), and half to other poems which people fancy reading.
