We meet in the very comfortable residents' lounge in Willowpool which is one of the residential blocks within the Cote Lane village and which has free parking onsite and good disability access.

We choose controversial topics to debate with a volunteer proposer and opposer, each giving a brief presentation of their case before the discussion is thrown open to the group. Topics are allocated at least a month in advance to give time for research. No subject is off limits, although nobody is obliged to discuss subjects with which they are not comfortable, and we enjoy spirited arguments with the only requirement being to remain polite and respectful at all times.

There is no cost involved, and the group is also open to Cote Lane residents.
