A shared learning group of bird enthusiasts from beginners to those more experienced. We share knowledge of birds and their habitats with visits to nature reserves.
We have 2 visits per month, one on a Tuesday and one on a Wednesday. Members come to one of these days or both. On rare occasions we have to limit numbers.

We usually visit nature reserves which are about one hour's drive from Bristol such as on the Somerset levels, Chew Lake and Slimbridge. We encourage car sharing but cannot guarantee transport so it is preferable to have your own.
We spend the morning going round the reserve and then go for lunch to a pub, cafe or packed lunch to discuss birds seen. In the afternoon you are free to continue or return home.
Walking is involved; binoculars and suitable clothing and footwear are required.
