We go on days out by public bus (or sometimes rail) to explore new places on foot, for instance visiting the seaside, local museums or historic properties. We normally meet up at or near Bristol Bus Station or Temple Meads depending on the itinerary for the day.
Communication is generally by email.
Members are encouraged to suggest places to go and to help with arrangements. It’s not expected that all members will be able to make every trip.
On any one trip it will be the first 10 to respond who get on. If a trip is very oversubscribed, then we will schedule an additional duplicate outing.
