The group sings for pleasure, not a performance, so there is no need to learn pieces or provide your own music. However, a degree of sight reading ability is essential.
We invite a different conductor to each meeting and ask them to bring their choice of music with them. Different conductors mean more variety, more challenge and more interest.
In order to ensure the choir has a reasonable balance of voices it is essential that potential new members contact the group leader in advance so that she can confirm whether we have vacancies in a particular type of voice.
