We meet in the Henleaze/Westbury Park area, accessible by the number 1 bus. Access to the venue is up a few steps to the front door, but then all on the ground-floor.

Great Literature is a reading/study group enjoying classic literature. We typically spend about 7 or 8 meetings discussing each book in depth, thinking about the writing, the characterisation, the social context etc. as we go carefully through each chapter.

We are currently reading George Eliot. Past favourites have been Austen, all the Brontes, Henry James, Edith Wharton and Zola. So, a reading group with a difference!
