This is an interactive group to discuss and learn about UK and world weather, including the science of forecasting, weather folklore and history as well as types of weather and how it occurs.

Members should be prepared to contribute to the discussion, so some prior research may be required if they don’t have existing knowledge of the topic.

We have 12 members in the group but would anticipate meetings of 6-9 people.

As we meet in the ground floor Architect cafe-bar which doesn’t charge us, members are encouraged to purchase refreshments so that we can continue to use their hospitality.
