A social group designed to build a "u3a community" in NW Bristol (members from BS16 who live West of the M32 plus all members in BS34 and BS32). Our members live in Stoke Gifford, Harry Stoke, Little Stoke, Bradley Stoke, Patchway, (parts of) Filton and Cheswick Village (near UWE Frenchay campus). Members from elsewhere are welcome to join in.
We meet formally each month for a coffee and agenda-setting meeting. There are often other coffee meetups in between at venues suggested by members, who also arrange events such as 10-pin bowling, pub quizzes and lunches. Communication is aided by a WhatsApp group which supplements a monthly round-up by email.
