Term time only. The class lasts approximately 75 minutes
Venue: Knowle Community Centre

Each session starts with a short time to centre through awareness and breathing before gentle exercises to warm the body. Then we have the main part of the practice, the postures or asana, and finish with relaxation.

Yoga not only helps to improve mobility, flexibility and strength but it encourages a general sense of well-being through the practice of gentle movement, breathing and relaxation.

It encourages a sense of living in the moment by being mindful of our bodies and how we respond to movement, so we always practise within our safe and comfortable limits.

There is a small charge towards the costs of hall hire.

This group is oversubscribed with a waiting list which sadly cannot take any more applicants for the time being. If you are a qualified yoga teacher and would like to form a new group, please contact one of the Groups Coordinators.
