There are four steps with a handrail to access the main door on Cannon Street and 5 steps from Dean Street. However, to the right of the main entrance on Cannon Street there is a step-free entrance.
There is a toilet on the ground floor marked for disabled and senior citizens.

Parking: The nearest car park is Diamond Street car park (BS3 3BS). Two hours parking would cost £2.20. (February 2026). This car park is only a couple of minutes walk from the pub.
Public Transport: The 24 stops very close by. Returning to town many buses leave a few yards away at the beginning of East Street - including m1, 43, 74, 75, 76. However, coming from town they stop a little further away such as the beginning of West Street.
