The theme for our 2026-27 season is From Baroque to Rococo to Enlightenment. We shall be exploring developments in European art from the 17th century to the 18th, a particularly fruitful period.
The Zoom link is circulated to Group members a day or two before each meeting. Members can log into Zoom at or just before 10.00 am to engage in general conversation in break-out rooms.
The PowerPoint presentation starts at 10.15 and part way through there's an interval for discussion in break-out rooms, usually of a comparison between two selected artworks on our screens. Small groups at this time make it easy for anyone who wishes to contribute to the discussion.
New members are welcome. We are a large group with no limit on numbers. Registering in advance is essential - to join please email the Convener David Ploss who manages the Group's register.
